Thanks a lot. Click a window's title bar, hold the mouse button down, and move it to the right or left edges of your screen. Place the pointer over the space you want to delete. The default settings it just used to beep.

Have the app open in whichever space you’re using at the time: Choose Options > None. Zoom to Mission Control, then click the space you want.
