Is multiplayer still active? This should show an additional device called Stereo mixing, right click on this device and select Enable. I too had the same problem when I had installed it. right click the speaker symbol on the bottom right. 2.click recording Devices3 right click in the box and pick show disabled devices4 right click stero mix and click enableI did not So don't do this!

A quicker way to locate Bioshock.exe would obviously be to just search for the file. My soundcard detected that the mic was present.
