When I first plugged it in, I was getting sound, and then for some reason when I turned it on last night, I was getting no sound. If it and the Wi-Fi module are not fully functional and properly attached to the motherboard, the system will not boot. DVD drive will not read discs¶ The drive takes discs, but does not read them Bad data cable¶ If the disc is spinning in the DVD drive, but the console can't Wii Picture But No Sound Remove the DVD drive and replace it with a new one to see if that works.
Checked TV using PS2 and confirmed that TV works fine Just as well it comes with 2 years warranty, time to take back to shop and either get another warranty replacement I've tried 2 HDMI cables. If this is the case, then completely shut down the Wii (red LED) and allow it to cool down, and then try again. It was covered by a flap that i had no idea was there. Traci Olson - 08/06/2013 Reply The AC adapter reset solved the problem. If you see a setting for tv speakers and it is set to on it will mute the sound from the monitors speakers.
