That will teach me not to disable random processes. I think I'm just going to reinstall windows, because this is ridiculous.I read somewhere as well, that the horizontal lines means theres something wrong with the display drivers, or the lcd I googled it and decided to install the closest driver I could find which was not really compatible with Win7 but after a few attempts of installing the same driver the Vaio Event Service Windows 10 After installing this last item my Fn keys started to work after a reboot!
Luckily, the packages required t operate the Brightness buttons isn't bloated like their Vaio Care crapware. If there are no Windows 10 drivers available you might want to download latest drivers or maybe Windows 8 or Windows 7 drivers instead.
