Onboard Audio Not Detected

First off, I would begin checking your settings in the BIOS and in Windows. Did the Gang of Four thoroughly explore "Pattern Space"? not sure where I'm supposed to be looking... Everything "looks" correct but still no sound.

Check both your speakers and the Windows 7 Volume Control options to verify that your speakers are on and your sound is not muted through Windows.
