Did you totally erase the drive then Partition it before Formatting it? All rights reserved. Do you have AppleCare or are you "out of warranty"?

I previously tried plugging in each one of the San Disk drives on one of the USB ports on a hub I use, but again they didm not mount. Also I low-level formatted the 32GB SDHC cards in the camera and they still would not read-up in the SD card slot of the MacBook Pro. I do not remember doing a separate SMART driver installation, but I guess that is possible. Hoping to use this extra memory, I purchased a SanDisk micro-to-full adapter.
