It says at the top "You can listen to..." and should have the "Listen to this device" box checked. "Playback through this device" should say "Default Playback Device" on the button. Still, its nice to have hardware sound and eax in games, I dont really notice the diff at all on my speakers, but you can really make use of the directionality If you are working in half duplex mode, your microphone works fine, but you cannot simultaneously record and listen to the output. Your card is not at fault here, its the drivers that are provided. I was going nuts with this problem and the 4GB trick solved it. In Control Panel> Sounds > Recording, the Audigy inputs show up but are marked "Currently Unavailable."
