Speedometer Not Working After Transmission Swap

Because some people have the tranny's without the internal sensor already in there car. Because the VSS and OSS have different signal requirements, that is the reason the sensor type MUST match the PCM and simply changing the wires WILL NOT WORK. Take off both drive shafts this makes getting to nuts so much easier and you do not fight trying to stab the front shaft while trying to stab 6 studs through if youve never had a problem with you spedo before or if youve never fucked with ir before then it may not be that but it is a deffinate possibility which this contact form

The main problem is after I manually shift it, I come to a COMPLETE stop, it goes right into basically neutral, but if I don't COMPLETELY stop it keeps pulling. Once that happens, I have to manually shift it out again. check out autozone.com's repair section for vacuum diagrams, that should tell you where that vac hose goes... One day it will be fine and one day it won't be. it originates from this little black box near the battery and under the intake piping. thanks for the reply!

No speedometer after transmission swap?!? the alternator fuse is not blowing from the harness rubbing the engine either I checked. hopefully you guys can shed some light on the situation. I also posted a picture of the adapter plate to help anyone contemplating changing out a cracked adapter.

U joint took out the adapter housing, changed it, put transfer case in and tranny wont get out of 2nd gear and would only get to 2nd by manually shifting it. http://philgiebler.com/speedometer-not/speedometer-not-working-ciera.html it's not on the vacuum hose diagram under my hood. We use data about you for a number of purposes explained in the links below. so i think that might be it, maybe a loose vacuum hose.
