I have the 'check spelling as I type' ticked in Firefox's advanced settings, and I have also download and installed the British Languge Pack add-on, but still it doesn't work. Otherwise the words wouldn't be underlined. Open the "Add Dictionaries" link to install a dictionary if you do not have one. Unfortunately, I've now uninstalled Mozilla Firefox as I don't feel I should be a computer expert in order to have a working check-spelling add-on. Chosen solution I had the same problem and solved it by uninstalling Firefox 23 and all its data and downgrade to Firefox 22. At least one dictionary should be installed and have a check mark to indicate that it is selected. It detected nothing as it has since about Version 24.
What is the best way to reactivate this valuable feature?
