Keep your hand between the dryer and the mac, if your hand is too hot then the mac is too hot! But I can imagine the replacement could be done by myself at a much cheaper price. I put it in the sunshine with some rice on the keys, and that fixed it for awhile. The process is fairly easy, it just takes a bit of time and patience since your dealing with delicate parts. However, I left it for maybe 2 months and tried it again, not expecting anything to happen. Never use a hair dryer, as this will cause static problems and contaminate your laptop.
