I am suspecting you have to connect the HD audio cable to the sound card for it to work as there is a pin slot for that. And it's also not broken, because the FP works perfectly with my onboard soundchip (though it seems to cause crackling in my headphones, so I cannot use it for it). ... No everything is detected. Creative drivers are also often NOT interchangeable between even related model cards. I'm glad you got it working, but it's not a good idea to try to manually "force install" the drivers. My Titanium Fatal1ty is currently only hooked up to the expansion slot, and it functioned before I installed the driver. I have setup my new PC build, but I am having some difficulty in connecting my sound card. The connectors on the ends of the cables are hard to get seated.
